Headaches
Headaches are a common health complaint, but that does not make them normal! Realize, Chiropractic is not a pill, but many people experience a reduction, if not an elimination of their headaches with chiropractic adjustments.
Why and how? It is from our experience that we have found that if one or more vertebrae of the neck are out of proper alignment and not moving normally, it can trigger headaches. What we look for and correct are vertebral subluxations, misalignments of the spine that are creating nerve interference and improper functioning of the body.
Low Back Pain
Everybody associates chiropractic with back pain. But this is an assumption that that is all we do. Of course countless people have been helped with their back pain with Chiropractic adjustments.
The difference in our Lancaster Chiropractic office is that we look at the whole spine, not just where you hurt. Our experience has taught us that it is not always where you hurt as to where the problem is.
Many times an injury elsewhere in the spine is affecting the low back, and unless the whole spine is looked at for imbalances, proper alignment and wholeness cannot be achieved.
Neck Pain
A common cause of neck pain is functional problems in the spine resulting from vertebral subluxations: misalignments of the vertebrae that create nerve interference.
When a vertebra loses its proper alignment, muscles and ligaments go into a protective mechanism to protect you, so more damage and irritation does not occur. The body responds by tightening muscles in the neck, "splinting" the joint to protect it from further insult. Here in our Lancaster Chiropractic office we exam your spine for these vertebral subluxations and introduce a gentle force to begin to correct them.
