George’s Chiropractic Health Center was established in 1971 in East Petersburg, PA., Dr. George's hometown. East Petersburg is a rural town that had open spaces at that time. About 1 1/2 years later, our new office was built at it’s present location on the Manheim Pike, approx 2 miles from East Petersburg. We often say that it is 1 mile North of Park City.
Chiropractic pure and simple
Dr. George designed the office to be completely "non-medical." Only chiropractic material with a philosophical base was allowed in the office so that our practice members would experience the other approach to true health. We want a practice that our practice members can always put their trust in, where they know their Chiropractors. We are human beings within the same concerns, and the same stresses. We understand.

Our mission here at George’s Chiropractic Health Center is to change a sick oriented society into a "quality of life oriented society". By providing specific spinal adjustments to remove Vertebral Subluxations, an interference to healing, to as many individuals possible. By serving humanity in educating our practice members on how to regain, achieve, and maintain a better quality of life through chiropractic care, so they in turn can go out to educate others. By giving the best chiropractic care to all in an ethical, moral, & professional environment. By creating a society in having a better quality of life, one practice member at a time.
We adjust babies at birth up to the elderly
The ideal practice member is one that wants to learn about being pro-active in taking care of his or her body so the body can remain a self-healing and self-regulating organism. That they realize the their lifestyle and health care choices will determine their future quality of life. It is those practice members that will refer because they want a better society as well as having their family and friends to maintain their ability to heal.
The U.S. is now 37th as a nation in health. As we improve our communities by having healthier people that will make better decisions, someday, we may just be able to change our world from a negative to a positive. I want to see less people needing hospitals, and first aid and emergency care. Instead of this being common, it is rare for people to need drugs that are not found in their bodies, and that health care breakdown is rare.
We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to the Lancaster area since 1969.

Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging vitalistic model.
