FAQ

How do I know if Chiropractic can help me?

In our office, we offer an initial consultation and evaluation at no cost to you (workers’ compensation and auto accidents excluded).  After the initial exam, we will be able to tell you if Chiropractic care can help you and we will give you our recommendations at the time of consultation.

What does the initial exam consist of?

We will first get a health history.  Then, we will explain the objectives of chiropractic and also explain what a vertebral subluxation is.  Then we will do a computer thermography scan of your spine, a 175 point neuromuscular and spinal examination, and report the findings to you.  If you are a candidate for Chiropractic care, we will discuss what we recommend at that time.

If I start Chiropractic care, is this something I need to continue the rest of my life?

If we accept you as a client, we evaluate your individual need and case and give you a program of care that is an estimate of how long we think it will take to get your spine stabilized.  After that time, it would make sense to maintain a balanced spine, but that is your decision.  You make the choice.

What will you do to correct my problem?

In our Health Center, we use the most advanced methods in the profession.  We use state of the art spinal evaluating procedures to get the quickest and best results possible for you in achieving your highest health potential.  We use a combination of a precision adjusting instrument, called the Integrator™, and hands-on adjusting in correcting the vertebral subluxation .  Our method of spinal analysis and correction is called “Torque Release Technique”  and is gentle, specific and individualized to your specific needs.

How effective and safe is Chiropractic care?

Oregon, California, and Florida State Worker’s Compensation Reports showed that back injuries improved in half the time with Chiropractic care.  The Gallup Organization found that 9 out of 10 patients find Chiropractic care effective.

Chiropractic care in this office is very safe.    The doctors in this office are licensed practitioners and each client is carefully evaluated before any Chiropractic care is administered.  Compared to medical care, the risk associated with Chiropractic care is considerable lower.  Proof of this is with the comparison of the medical doctor’s malpractice insurance premiums as compared to the chiropractor’s. The medical doctor’s premium is ten to fourteen times higher than those for chiropractors.

What do Chiropractor’s “treat”?

Chiropractors do not treat any specific disease or condition.  Rather than trying to eliminate the symptom which is only a temporary solution, the chiropractor’s objective is to eliminate or reduce the vertebral subluxation complex which will restore your body’s natural healing capabilities.
